SAT to TOEFL

Last week was really hectic. Many stuidents asking about SAT I and Math IC questions.

This week I will be focusing on my TOEFL students (test is this Saturday).

This is the first time in 10 years, I am so annoyed.

Some 18 yr old Chinese boy named Lucas Lee came emailing this afternoon asking for help for his TOK essay "

To what extent does 'doing the right thing' depend on reason?". He said it was due tomorrow.

I was booked today till midnight but he insisted again and again, email after email (30 over emails).

Soft-hearted, I gave up my dinner time to help him. Then, he suddenly cancelled. So much time was wasted!!!

Spring Break Peak Season

Dear Students,

Last week was a hectic one with assignment requests from local students (during their one week holiday) flooding in. I finally filled out all requests today.

But my peak period continues.

Like every year, I will be buried with requests for Spring Break assignments. ICS has already started their break, so will other international schools.

So please do not send me your requests ONE NIGHT before the end of your break like last year. I need time to help you. Send requests to me EARLY!!!

Taking photos with your phone...

Dear Students,

Most of you take photos of your assignments and email to me. Please
(i) Do not shake your hands too much
(ii) Make sure the lighting around you is not too dark
(iii) Pls send the highest quality/resolution of the photos you have taken (usually about 2MB each)
Otherwise, it may be hard for me to read. Thanks

3) Catcher in the Rye 800 word response essay

4) Maths Review Exercies on Partail Fractions, Integration and Differential Equations (39 questions)

5) Chinese Essay on Importance of Communications
